This past week, we got new teams. I'm so excited to share the wonderful people I've been blessed with in this season with you. They're AWESOME!! We're already having so much fun together!!
Jubilation= Jubliee + Generation
In the Old Testament, in Leviticus 25, God commanded the Israelites to have a year of Jubilee every fifty years. This year was set apart as a holy year. During this time, slaves were set free, property returned to its rightful owner, and there was no need to plant crops because the Lord provided so abundantly the year before. It was a time of release from indebtedness and bondage of all sorts and resting in the Lord.
Isaiah 61:1-2 says, ‘The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s freedom.’
Our team is a part of a generation who wants to proclaim the Lord’s favor wherever we go. We have set this year apart as one where we are focused on the Lord and find our rest in Him. We will bring freedom, hope, and the good news to people we come in contact with.

Just to give you an update as far as our goings and comings, we arrived in Nepal a couple of days ago (after a 30 hour bus ride!!) We've been staying at a ministry called Asha Nepal, a home for trafficked women and their children. We've had this time to rest, and get prepared for our ministry. Nepal is defiantly different in culture than the US! We leave tomorrow at 5:30 a.m. for our site. It's not to far from here, supposedly a 6 hour bus ride, but with the way the roads are here, winding around all the mountains, it could be longer. I'm so excited to get going on our ministry here!!!
