It’s hot.

I’ve always liked trips as a kid. Car trips, train trips, bus trips. I’ve been on them all and I’ve never been the kind of person who dreads travel. Eastern europe might change that. . .

This morning was our last day in our Romanian hostel and we were checking the news this morning and it is 40 Celsius here. That’s like 100 Fahrenheit. And we’re on a train. With no ac. and three small windows. Like I said. It’s hot.

I loved Romania. We ended up spending some of our time running around Bucharest. It’s beautiful!!

So. . . I wrote that little bit last night, but it got to exciting to stick our heads out the few windows that there were. It ended up being a beautiful train ride. There was so much to look at and at midnight, there was an amazing electrical storm! We did get woken up at 4 am to go through customs and get new wheels on our train. (They lifted us up with a crane to do it!!) Now I’m happily sitting in a Hotel in Chisinau, Moldova, in the only little place we get wifi, trying to upload pictures and answer every e-mail before we leave tomorrow.

We’re heading out about 1 1/2 from the city to a little village to work for the month. We’re going to be there until August 16th.

I have no idea what to expect, or what we’re doing. I don’t even know if the people we will be working with speak english!! But I’m excited to find everything out tomorrow.
