With my nine month mission trip to Thailand, South Africa, and Nicaragua getting closer and closer, I am happy to say that I am half way funded! I wanted to take a minute to say thank you so much to all of those that have helped me to this points through your prayers and financial support. It has been so amazing to see how God has helped everything unfold so perfectly during this process. He has placed so many generous people in my life and given me many opportunities to help reach my goals along the way. He has given my heart peace in the days when I have felt the anxiety of fundraising and reality of leaving the country for nine months sinking in!
To everyone that has sent me kind messages, support texts, calls, and prayers the past few months- y’all have been such an encouragement that God has put in my life! It is appreciated more than you know and more than a thank you card or phone call can say.
I am so glad (and a little sad… just because I love college SO much) to say graduation is right around the corner. After a crazy semester of receiving 500 internship hours in the sports medicine field, it is crazy to think that I have actually made it. I can’t believe I am actually going to be a college graduate! This accomplishment for me is another huge blessing and stepping stone in my life.
With that being said, I would love for any graduation gifts that may have been given to me in monetary form to be put towards the next big chapter in my life, which is this trip! I can’t wait to spend my first year as a college graduate doing what God has called me to do and scatter all the love my heart can hold all around the world. And maybe I can give a little athletic training, physical therapy, and health advice while I am over there 😉
So to wrap up this little update on my life… One more month of college, One big ole’ graduation Louisiana style, four months of summer work/enjoying my family and friends/ preparing my heart for the task at hand, and then nine months of spreading LOVE!
Thank you again for your support. I seriously love you all
“Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:1-2
