                   ~God Before Us~

  Deuteronomy 1:29-31  – 

    Then I said unto you, ” Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them. The Lord your God, who is *going before you*, will fight for you, as he did  for you in Egypt, before your very eyes, and in the wilderness. There you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a father carries his son,in all the way you went until you reached this place.”

 

Hugh Roberts (a.k.a. HughhipsdontLie…or HulaHugh) *Our Leader*

     Hugh is seriously legit! 

Hugh is for real probably one of the coolest guys I know. He is a strong and courageous man of God, and definitely leadership material. Wanna know why? Hugh listens to you, like for real he drops everything else and just listens to what the person speaking has to say, and he makes sure everyone gets a turn to share their thoughts and feelings. He is super smart, and he thinks before he speaks..so when he does say something everyone pays Attention!! He is really chill and always stays calm even in situations when everyone else is not. He obviously loves God with his whole heart, and I can literally tell that he is growing in God daily….which is so Cool! I am extremely excited to see what God does through Hugh and his guidance over our team! 🙂

Wesley Vickers (a.k.a. Wes)

   Wesley is a great guy! He is extremely smart, funny and definitely caring, he is always ready to help someone else out. He is also a strong, courageous man of God, who obviously loves Jesus with his whole being. He is also very calm and thinks before he speaks, and when he does speak up…..its always worth listening to! Wesley is very intuitive to other peoples thoughts and feelings, and he is always encouraging us to speak up about our thoughts. I can tell that Wesley is going to be a lot of fun as well as spiritually uplifting to be around, and I can’t wait to get to know him better in the next 11 months! 🙂

Jo Linda Sala

  Jo Linda is one of the sweetest women of God I have ever met! She has such a great personality that everyone flocks to, she is sweet, funny, and caring! Jo Linda is also a very smart and strong woman, and I can see the love that she has for Jesus every time her beautiful smile lights up her face! I immediately bonded with Jo Linda from the beginning and I am so excited to have her on my team, I definitely look up to her and I can’t wait to see how God uses Jo Linda in not only our teams lives but in every person she meets along our journey. 🙂

Missy Hollinger

 Missy is such an encouragement to me! She is a very sweet, funny, and compassionate person. Missy is an extremely strong, smart, powerful woman of God. She is sometimes very quiet but I believe has a lot to say, and I just feel that God is going to use her and her words when she does say them, in a powerful way!  She is also very caring about others, when others are discouraged or in a rough spot in life, she always has an encouraging word or verse, and if she doesn’t she is ready to say a prayer for them! I feel like I learn things from Missy whether we are in a deep conversation, or just standing next to each other in silent worship. I am so excited to be on this team with Missy and I cannot wait to see all the things that God is going to do through her! 🙂

Sammie Jo Marks

  Sammie Jo is just the sweetest young woman you will ever meet! I automatically want to give her a hug every time I see her (11 months together……that’s a lot of hugs!!)! Sammie Jo is sweet, funny,cheerful, and caring. She has the most genuine love for everyone…even random strangers! She is also a very smart and strong woman of God. She may be small in size, but her heart and her ability to affect others in a positive way is HUGE!! She truly cares about others and what they are going through, I have literally seen her heart break for those around her, and it is powerful. Sammie Jo is also a very encouraging person, always ready to help you out or speak encouraging words and prayer over you. I am so excited to be on a team with Sammie Jo and to witness all the great things that God is going to do through her! 🙂

Hosanna Sheeley

 Hosanna…..where do I start? Hosanna is the coolest young woman to be around! She is extremely smart, funny, strong, and someone you can turn to for advice in a moment! Hosanna is just an incredible person to watch, she has such a strong faith and is ready to share it with you no matter who you are, or where you are at (something I really look up to her for). She is a hoot to be around, and I’m excited about having someone to goof off with for 11 months! She accepts everyone for who they are and makes you feel like you’ve been friends with her for forever! She is also a very encouraging and uplifting person to be around, and it doesn’t take long for her to have you smiling and laughing along with her. I feel that God is going to use Hosanna in some awesome ways and I’am so excited that I get to be there to witness them! 🙂
