Allow me to introduce myself! I’m Emily and I’m 25 years old. Born and raised in
the real south; Louisiana! I’m a lover of learning more about my Jesus, singing,coffee, travel, and baking.
For those of you that don’t know in August of 2016 I will be on my way to Lesotho, Swaziland, South Africa, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Haiti, and Dominican Republic!! I am SO excited to begin this journey with the Lord! Also I’m so excited to have another opportunity to go back to Nicaragua- a country that still holds much of my heart.
In preparation for this next journey there are many things that I can not reach alone. One of the most important things I ask is that you would be in prayer alongside of me. I am currently working and will begin fundraising soon, but I need your help! I need to raise $17,000 – which will cover 11 months of meals, lodging, air, land, and sea travel, administrative costs, setup costs, coaching costs, debriefing costs, and training camp costs.
To be honest, when I first said yes to this journey with the Lord the cost overwhelmed me a little. It took me a few days to realize, but God is good no matter what and He will provide these funds in His time. So I rest assure that if this is where God has me it will happen! And I have no doubt that I am going to need a strong support system and the Lord has already shown me people that will be just that. I believe that He will use this whole season to not only show me to lean on Him literally for every penny, but that He will unite the body of Christ to be part of this ministry, for His glory. With that being said, I am excited to be apart of such a community.
