These are just a few things I’ve experienced while being on the World Race. Enjoy!

1. Puked while swimming with sharks in South Africa.
2. Shaved my legs using only baby wipes. (multiple times)
3. Hiked 9 miles in a rainforest up to a volcano in Costa Rica and almost died of hypothermia.
4. Planned a Beauty for Ashes event and shared my testimony in Jamaica.
5. Used what I learned in sports medicine and working at a PT clinic to help someone heal in Nicaragua & Jamaica.
6. Sprayed myself with big spray or air freshener as a form of perfume.
7. Ate Turkish delight in Turkey on a layover and it was disgusting!
8. Walked in a bar in Thailand with boldness to share the gospel with a prostitute.
9. Forgave a stranger for stealing my phone in Jamaica.
10. Used bug repellent wipes to get nail polish off.
11. Ate ham & cheese croissants from circle k for a week straight for breakfast in Thailand.
12. Led worship literally all over the world.
13. Walked 5 miles to ministry to show Gods love in Swaziland.
14. Willingly ate a tarantula in Cambodia.
15. Journaled everyday of the race.
16. Danced and sang karaoke with my Cambodian family.
17. Got a blister from hand washing my clothes in Lesotho.
18. Prayed over a squad-mate who hurt her knee and was then healed.
19. Slept in my hammock for a whole month and loved it in Jamaica.
20. Got fully funded, ate donuts, and celebrated Christmas with my team in Cambodia.
21. Went to the doctor in 3 different continents.
22. Sang Jesus Loves Me & This Little Light of Mine in almost every country with kids.
23. Chose joy even when my circumstances weren’t the best.
24. Shared an 8×8 space with 13 people’s stuff.
25. Ate some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life in South Africa.
26. Carried my 45 pound pack up 4 flights of stairs in Vietnam.
27. Did ministry with my parents in Nicaragua!
28. Washed my hair in a sink on a long layover.
29. Prayed everyday while my team went out evangelizing in Costa Rica.
30. Watched the sun rise and set in the same day (experienced a 36 hour day)
31. Talked to a protester in the LAX airport (on our layover) about Jesus.
32. Skipped out on a adventure day to rest.
33. Told my testimony to a group of strangers for the first time ever 5 minutes after being asked in Lesotho.
34. Survived a 31 hour car ride from Swaziland to South Africa.
35. Sled down an active 2,388 ft volcano in Nicaragua.
36. Showered, shaved my legs, and washed my clothes in a waterfall in the DR.
37. Walked in vulnerability with my team.
38. Helped built a playground in the DR.
39. Went many of months without wifi and survived.
40. Jumped in an ocean/lake when I couldn’t see the bottom in Nicaragua and Haiti.
41. Dealt with things with people instead of just “sweeping them under the rug.”
42. Spoke to strangers even when the American culture says it’s not a good idea.
43. Walked in the dark to the long drop that was 150 yards away in Swaziland.
44. Brought things to the light and received healing.
45. Served food to an upcoming music artist (Matthew Mole) in South Africa.
46. Got a tattoo in a foreign country.
47. Became a professional outfit repeater over the last 11 months.
48. Volunteered my time at a recycling plant in Costa Rica.
49. Lost 40+ pounds in 11 months.
50. Truly learned to see the world through the eyes of it’s creator.
