Oh the places I’ll go, the people I’ll see
When traveling for 11 months to 11 countries
It will be so enlightening to see the world and so many different places
To brighten people’s lives and bring smiles to their faces
I am ready for the challenge; I am ready for a change
I am ready to live my life for God and totally rearrange
It is now clear why God put me through some of the challenges I have faced
They were all encounter’s that have prepared me and guided me to the World Race
I am willing to give up my life of comfort and routine
For a mysterious journey to places that are unseen
I look to the Lord for strength and motivation
Although I am traveling, this is no vacation
My tent will be my home, my backpack will be my closet
The spiders will be my roomates…and that’s where I will pause it.
I am terrified of spiders, I am not sure what I will do
But I am putting all my trust in the Lord to get me through
I am ready to take on this mission and see what God has in store
I will not come back the person that I was once before
I will be transformed in so many beautiful ways
I cannot wait for this journey; I am counting down the days!
