I know it has been some time since I have blogged….and no excuses…BUT I have been extremely busy with school and student teaching. I am finally getting a chance to breath and update you all on my life and what is going on in my heart.
As the time gets closer and closer to me beggining this next chapter in my life..I am starting to feel all sorts of emotions. I am SO excited and at the same time I am so scared and nervous for what lies ahead. Without a doubt, I know this is exactly where God wants me to be so I know there is no need to be scared. When I think about leaving my family, friends, and the comfortable lifestyle I live behind, I start to panic. BUT then I remember that this is where God has lead me and I am no longer afraid.
There is not a day that passes by that I do not think about this mission that God has called me on. I am so excited that he believes in me and believes that I have the power (through him) to help change lives and the world around me. I am so honored and excited to see what He is going to do through me. I hope to be an inspiration to all of the people I meet and I hope to show them the love that God has for each and everyone of them.
I am so thankful for all of the people in my life who have lead me in the right direction and ultimately to God. I do not know where I would be without their love. I know I was on a path that was leading me to destruction. Through their love and willingness to invest in me, I was able to turn my life around and understand that I am loved and I am saved. I hope to share this same love to everyone I meet in the upcoming year. I hope I can return the love that was given to me and change lives. I know I cannot change the world, but I can share what I have learned and through my testimony..hopefully I will be able to change atleast ONE persons life. You never know who is in need of a smile or a hug. You never know what a simple word or act of kindness can do to someones soul. One of my favorite quotes…"be kind. for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."
Thank you to everyone who has invested time and love into my life. You have shown me what God's love is all about and now it is my turn to go out and share this wonderful gift that God has given each and everyone of us…love.
