Last night I experienced things I’ve never experienced before in my life, or at least to that degree. I’m still trying to wrap my head around it all, but I’m so grateful for the things God showed me.
My team & I were doing listening prayer for each other & the Holy Spirit was so strong & was really speaking to each one of us. We were getting really crazy messages, some of us were being shown the same things, or some peoples visions would somehow connect with one another’s, & it was just a really neat thing. As we were getting ready to do our last listening prayer, I felt such a strong, demonic presence surround us. I told the girls what I was feeling & insisted that we pray over the room/hostel. As soon as I said that, the other girls said they felt it too, so we immediately began praying. The bathroom door in our room was shut & one of the girls said they felt we needed to open it & immediately we were all filled with fear, so we knew there was something in there that needed out. When we opened the door, my one teammate said she felt the evil spirit brush past her & we then opened the main door of our room so it would leave. After that we decided that we needed to walk around the hostel & pray over each room. So we woke up some of the other girls & they willingly joined us in prayer. As we were praying, we were seeing & feeling different things & we all teamed up to make sure whatever was not from God would leave in the name of Jesus. Some girls felt God showed them that a girl was raped in the shower & there was a lot of darkness in the bathroom, so we teamed up & prayed over it. I saw demons hiding under our beds, so we all kneeled on the ground & just started worshipping & demanding the evil spirits to flee. Then in the one bathroom, I saw cockroaches & other bugs pouring down the walls. The one time we were outside praying over the rooms & I was praying with my hands on the windows & I saw a demon on the other side, like it was trapped in the room, so we then opened the door & prayed over the room. I could go on & on with all the things we saw, & I’m sure some of you are probably weirded out as you read this because you don’t understand spiritual warfare & you’ve never experienced it before or maybe even believed in it. But let me tell you one thing, it is real, but my God is so much greater than any amount of darkness & even the mention of His name can make the most evil of spirits flee. I’ve never experienced spiritual warfare like I did last night & it just opened my eyes to see just how powerful my God truly is. Those demons were terrified & pissed off that we were speaking life into that place & they knew that they no longer had a place there. I can still remember feeling the relief of the darkness leaving & the Holy Spirit taking its place. I can still remember seeing angels surround us as we prayed. I can still remember feeling the fear leave me & instead be filled with an immense amount of peace. And God told me, “this is why you’re here. If you weren’t here, you wouldn’t have been able to pray over this place & bring my Kingdom.” Last night was truly life changing & I’m blessed to have been able to experience all that I did. It just made my walk with Christ all the more stronger & I feel more awake.
Ephesians 6:11-17 ~ “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
1 Peter 5:8-9 ~ “”Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith.”
