As the end of 2016 approached, I knew that God was calling me to other things. Little did I know that my next stop would be in Anchorage, Alaska. An opportunity came up to nanny for a couple that I know from college for their two kids.
Let’s just say life is never boring chasing around two toddlers all day.
In June, I will be traveling to the bush of Alaska up in Unalakleet to volunteer and serve at the Covenant Bible camp where I will be a counselor and lifeguard. I might even teach some campers how to swim. For three weeks, I will be sharing the love of Christ to high school and junior high students.
July, I will be headed back to Swaziland on a mission trip to lead a team of high schoolers. We will be working at care points playing with the children, helping teach preschool, assisting with the cooking for all the children for the care point, service projects, leading Bible lessons for the kids, and whatever else that is placed in front of us to do.
