My first month of ministry is now over. I am sad to leave the people here. The ones that I have met are dear to my heart and God willing; I would love to see them again someday.

I said good-bye to Glen and Grace who are the people who own the land that the Mt. Moriah Camp and the children’s’ home is located on. They invited us into their home whenever we liked to use internet, call home, or just to have a place to relax. Every time that I went to their house, they would spoil me with candy or food.

I said good-bye to Jeremy and Sarah and their three boys who were are ministry contacts. We helped moved them back to Malaybalay. They enjoyed having us around as much as we liked being around them.

I said good-bye to Pastor Larry and Belin who did so much for us. Pastor Larry drove us into town when we needed rides and Belin would buy us food teach us their language and just always had a smile on her face.

I said good-bye to all the kids and the children’s home, all 22 of them. I pray that they will continue to learn about God and keep Him close to their hearts and that they will grow up to be people who spread the love of Christ.

I said good-bye to everyone that was behind the scenes such as the ladies that cooked for us, all the house moms at children’s home, the lady that did our laundry three days a week, our other drivers, and so many more people.

I said good-bye to the IVCF group which was a college Bible study group. Here I met and fell in love with this group. Jonah and Lyndi were the first that I met in this group and they even invited us to their home to hang out. This group even put on a concert that we were able to help out with financially and we were able to perform for the concert.

I am now in Cambodia, Phnom Penh to be exact and tomorrow I will be traveling about 2 hours towards the coast to Kampot, Cambodia in a small village called Toch.  I just found out that my team will be spending most days visiting the families in the village, teaching English, teaching Hip Hop, doing Bible studies, among a few other things.
