Happy {Belated} Pi Day! In honor of Pi Day, I decided to share with you some nifty pie charts that may answer some of your questions!
It is just a few months until the first deadline of $5,000, and I am stoked to announce that I have exceeded that amount thanks to all of you!
My next deadline is $10,000 by July. If you haven’t donated yet, but God has given you the itch to do so, go ahead and push the “Support Me!” button!
God continues to amaze me! Thank you for being a piece of the puzzle in all this!
$16,561 is a huge amount, but God is greater!
Here are some graphs that help break down the cost of the World Race:
- Training Camp: $331 – I will spend June 8-18th in Gainesville, GA training for the World Race.
- Field Support: $662 – This goes toward supplies while abroad, local contacts, etc.
- World Race Development: $1,987 – Part of the cost goes toward improving and developing the World Race for future participants.
- Administration Fees: $2,815 – There is a team of men and women who make the World Race possible. Some of this money goes to the Adventures in Missions staff who organize everything Race related.
- World Racer (Me, Emily!): $10,765 – This money goes to all my needs while on the field. (See next pie chart!)
Intercontinental Travel (North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia): $4,844
- Food: $1,399
- Lodging: $2,045
- Transportation: $1,184
- Long Distance Travel & Miscellaneous Supplies: $1,292
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
- Pray. Prayer is powerful, and I greatly appreciate prayers as I prepare for the trip. Please send me a message if you would like to be a recipient of e-mails with prayer requests.

I need to raise $16,561 to cover my travel, food, lodging and insurance for the 11 months, and I am beyond grateful for your willingness to contribute.
