From our windows in our apartment, we can see two mosques. Since I saw these, God placed it on my heart to go to them and pray around them.

One day, with a few of my teammates and another woman of God, we went on a prayer walk around a few mosques in town.

At first, I felt hesitant to pray out loud, but the woman of God, said that we could because it was like we were just talking with each other.
At one mosque, we decided to go peek in and get closer to the mosque.

Then, I suggested to pray a short, quiet voiced prayer with the girls and if they wanted to add anything after me they could.

I prayed something along the lines–
“We may not think God is here [at mosques] but He is.”
Suddenly, a man appeared and started talking with us [in Albanian], the woman of God shared with us later that he asked if we were converting to Islam (umm…that’s a no).
Then, the man invites us to come into the mosque.
Keep in mind that women are not usually allowed in the mosques, especially without any head coverings and such.

So, we had the divine opportunity to pray INSIDE the mosque and invite the Holy Spirit to move in that place.
A big reason why the man invited us in was most likely because we were American, but hey we will take it!

They even turned on the chandelier’s lights on for us and showed us upstairs where the women pray and all around.

It seemed to be a big show, but it was still a divine opportunity.

Overall, the space in that room, was EMPTY both literally and figuratively.
BUT, thank the LORD because He is there, ALWAYS!

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will NEVER leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

Related side note (from Kosovo):
Lately, I’ve been waking up early (without alarm) before the sun rises. This morning (11-23-16), I awoke and it is still dark outside and I hear the call to prayer from the mosques located all around the neighborhood. My heart sinks every time I hear it. – So, I pray, but I pray to the True God. I pray for the people of Kosovo. I pray for the people who are praying to Allah. I thank God that we have a direct line of communication to Him. I thank God that we can talk to Him at any time, any day, 24/7.

I pray.

“The sorrows of those will increase who run after other gods.” Psalm 16:4a

Please be in prayer for the people of Kosovo and around the world that are praying to a false god. Pray for God to reveal Himself to them.

“Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me.” Psalm 27:10

^^^This relates to the muslims who come to know Jesus because they are often shunned from their family and society. Please pray for the muslims who come to faith to find family and community in people of God and in Jesus Himself.

And my prayer for them and any other Christian that is being persecuted is Psalm 119:105-112:

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.

I have suffered much; preserve my life, O LORD, according to your word.

Accept, O LORD, the willing praise of my mouth, and teach me your laws.

Though I constantly take my life in my hands, I will not forget your law.

The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.

Your statues are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.

My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.”

During our time in Kosovo, we have seen the Lord move in us and through us and around us, if you would like to hear any more stories in detail, please let me know!

Update:

Lots of changes have happened as of recent, such as (not limited to) team changes, new month, new country, new continent, new ministry, new weather, loads of NEWness.

Let me introduce to you my new team:
JUBILEE!
[ft. our amazing coaches]

I have the absolute honor to do life beside each of these lovely ladies. So excited and humbled to lead, pour into, root for, and pray for each of these beautiful women of God! Let it be a time for dancing and Jubilee!

We are currently, in Livingstone, Zambia, Africa.

Team Jubilee has been enjoying our time together. This month we are partnered with the Men’s team (Valor) where we do ministry together and live steps away from each other. In the mornings, we go to a nursing home and help with different chores and visit with the residents, and in the afternoon, we play with kids all along with sharing the love of Jesus! Please keep us in your prayers!

I’m excited to see God move here in Zambia!

I am typing this in town (we live in a village) at a coffee shop with Christmas music playing in the background, in view of a Christmas tree and even a Santa.

I miss you all and love you all!

Thanks for being apart of my journey!

More updates to come!

P.S. I would’ve added more pictures, but the wifi is pretty scarce here in Africa.
