Graduation is an exciting time of celebration. It is an end, but also a beginning.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m excited to see what God will do this next chapter of life. But, right now I am sad.

I am sad because of the people I will miss.

Good-byes are tough.

But, with tough good-byes mean that good friendships were made and memories were made.

I go back & forth while praying to God between…

-I hate this, why do I have to say good-bye – why do I care so much for these people?

to…

praising God for these people in my life.

Thank you, God for the beautiful people you have placed in my life. Thank you for my friends and family. Thank you for my roommates. Thank you for the incredible support from my family and friends. Thank you for all the growth that has happened through the experiences I have been blessed with throughout my years.

Thank you for giving me a glimpse of the Nations through my time with people from other countries. I pray they transition smoothly back to their country and search out the Truth for their lives. I hope and pray I’ll see them again someday.

I also pray for those who are also transitioning whether that be from graduating, preparing for grad. school, transferring, moving out, getting a new job, summer times, etc. I pray for them to keep their eyes on you and make the most of what they are doing. Also, that they realize and recognize that times of feeling alone, sad, mad, upset, you name it…transitions are hard; it is normal to have all these feelings; I know I have them. My hope and prayer for you and myself is that we keep pressing into our Father for comfort and guidance.

Also, my thought is that God is preparing me for the good-byes that are soon to come with my family and friends here in Wisconsin and also for the good-byes that will be had each month as we say good-bye to the people, the country, the culture that we get to experience and grow to love for that month.

(P.S. This is my graduation cap. ;))

Again, I am both extremely excited and extremely terrified to start this next chapter of my life which involves going on this crazy journey called the World Race, but my dream is to never be settled, but to be SENT!

Thank you all for all your love and support! I’m incredibly thankful! Love you!

Another part of this journey is fundraising, I am currently over 53% funded which the Lord has provided through you! I still need help for the 47% left to be raised. Will you please pray about giving towards the World Race?
