Me with Slavik’s daughters overlooking Kyiv!
and will probably be one of my favorites! We’ve done a variety of things… This
year has been filled with times where I think, “Am I really doing this right
now!? haha…” This month had a few as well…

Our team went to a ballet at The Opera House
started off a little hectic. With Trevor in such bad condition, we had a
house-full staying with us, but it was a pleasure getting meet Trev’s dad and
help support their family as they went through such a difficult time. We were
all so sad to see him go, but thankful that he is doing so much better back in
the states! I appreciate all your prayers!!

We saw Trev off by standing outside with candles, which
then turned into singing Christmas carols…
Gosh, I love these people…
different universities. Our goal was to just hang out with college students,
share the gospel, and show them the love of Christ. Many of us were involved in
this kind of ministry back home so we were excited to pour into these students…
When word got around about the Americans being around, the universities started
asking us to come and lecture at their classes, so we became teachers! This was
one of the moments where I was standing in front of a class talking thinking,
“I was just here! Am I really lecturing at a university right now??” I enjoyed
the creative way we got to share the gospel in the universities though…

them to our weekly bible study we started at the beginning of the month. We
were blessed with an amazing flat this month (check out the cribs video) from
some missionaries that live here! It was the perfect arrangement for
entertaining. We decided to start a worship night and bible study/fellowship
time. It was awesome to be able to connect some of the Christian kids we met as
well as share the love of Christ with the one’s who had never heard…

some time with Slavik Radchuk’s family. Check out my previous
blog to see more about that…

I also celebrated my golden birthday this month! This big
2-6 on the 26th! I went with my team to see a big soccer (or
football as they say) game, Kiev Dynamo vs. Arsenal. I felt so special receiving
so many sweet emails and messages from my friends & family all over the
world. I even got to Skype with my mom, dad, and dog, Arfie! It made my day! I
have been so blessed with such a good family and group of friends. I have to
brag on two of my friends for a minute…Danielle & Emily… They made me the
sweetest video touring my hometown, Gainesville, Georgia. I sat in a coffee
shop laughing with tears in my eyes. I attached it below if anyone feels like
watching… It made me miss home 10X more, but it’s less than 2 months now until
I return!
