About Me: I grew up in Gainesville, Georgia. I have two wonderful parents, Barry & Bridget, and a brother, Brandon. I thank God everyday for the Christian home I grew up in and my precious parents that show their love to us daily and constantly teach me what it means to love and serve the Lord. They are much of the reason for my constant desire of exploration. Exploration of this amazing world we live in, of myself, of Christ, and of Christ inside of me. My brother is currently in school and working as a CrossFit trainer, as well as a personal trainer…he can kick some serious butt! He has taught me so much over the years and I cherish our relationship. We also have two adorable Yorkies, Teddy and Arfie! As a family, we enjoy traveling and have always been involved in missions. We spent my middle school years traveling back-n-forth to Peru for business and ministry work. I used to communicate pretty well in Spanish, but lack of use has deleted it from my memory! I graduated from North Georgia College and State University in 2006 with a degree in Marketing and Management. I spent all 3 summers of college living in NYC going to NYU, Baruch, and interning at Roberto Cavalli. After I graduated I started working for a clothing manufacturer doing sales, retail store design/development, buying, and photo shoots. I have no idea what my job title is, but I love it! The learning experience has been like grad school for me!

Random Facts: Well…I’m pretty random in general. I live in my own world 90% of the time and my mind is always working overtime! I love life and spend every day truly trying to live it. I have so much fun, sometimes I have to pinch myself. I work in the fashion industry, so I love the art of clothing and especially shoes, but I prefer to be barefoot! I am a thrill seeker and have this innate desire to see and do as much as I possibly can while I’m alive (I think I get that from my dad). I’m a people watcher. I travel as much as possible and I’ve been to over 30 countries! I’m fascinated with discovering new people and cultures. I have a special place in my heart for the lost and suffering. I’m super organized and sometimes anal, but also spontaneous. I like to be entertained 24/7…haha, not always a good thing. I like to go-go-go, non stop! I crave adventure and I’m an adrenalin junky. I’m a certified skydiver (although I haven’t been in awhile…). I love to eat! I enjoy working out….just started cycling last year and recently joined CrossFit. I also just started taking piano lessons in January (I know…who does that at 25 years old…but that’s how I roll). I love going to the movies – it’s the best escape. I could probably dance everyday for the rest of my life and not get bored. I love to read. I like writing songs. Sometimes my imagination gets the best of me! I love kids and i volunteer at my Church in KidPak. I’m in a bowling league (yes…I know…also not normal for a 25 year old…it was part desire, part peer pressure! haha). Love taking pictures and scrapbooking (if I make time). Singing, singing, and more singing – karaoke is my middle name. I love animals…all of them. I really want a sloth, but apparently they are not legal…I checked. I go to a lot of concerts. I enjoy watching live sports – I usually don’t have the attention span to know whats going on, but the people watching is great! Watching sports on tv is torture (unless it’s a social thing). I’m constantly smiling, laughter is key. The funniest jokes are usually the ones other people don’t laugh at.
Some (of the very long list) of random things I’d like to do before I die: Stay in a castle for a night, walk inside a hanging meat locker, get certified in scuba, be an extra in a movie, base jumping, get dreads, spend the night on a sail boat, walk the great wall of china, sing and play at an open mic night, be Amish for a week, visit every state in the US, see every country in the world, ride an elephant, participate in La Tomatina (huge tomato fight in Spain), take a submarine dive, go shark diving (in a cage), hand gliding, wind surfing, write a book….and the list goes on!
