Is this really possible, God?
$10,000 dollars?
That seems like a lot of money — but to God, it is nothing.
Support raising has been quite the journey. It is a journey of God tearing me away from relying on my own strength — to rely on His and His alone.
As I was praying about my financial support this morning, God gave me this crazy idea that I could be FULLY FUNDED before launch.
What, God? Fully funded?
It seems completely impossible through the eyes of my flesh — but to God, all things are possible. And whether I am fully funded before launch or not, I rest in His assurance that He works out all things for His good.
Through my prayers this morning, this crazy idea came to mind ::
If just 100 people give 100 dollars :: I will be fully funded.
Ok. Does that not seem crazy?
100 people. 100 dollars.
I believe it can happen through God and His people. I believe He is raising up these 100 people to be apart of this journey around the world.
So, you might be asking… why support me on The World Race? Well let me give you a few fabulous reasons ::
- You get to be apart of the Gospel of Jesus Christ going out to the nations! Not just one nation, but 11 nations.
- You may be lucky enough to receive a post card from one of these fabulous nations! 😉
- You will get to live vicariously through me and my team — knowing that YOU were apart of sending me as you read stories through my blog.
- This trip is NOT possible without you.
- Your perspective of God's people and the nations will be changed.
- The hungry will be fed. The thirsty will thirst no more. The naked will be clothed.
- The hopeless will experience hope.
- The hands and feet of Jesus Christ will be brought to the corners of the earth.
- It is an investment in eternity.
- It will change my life. And hopefully yours, too.
My prayer, is that as you support me you would not just be giving financially — but that you too would be apart of this journey. That you would be changed as the world is changed through your gifts and prayers to the Kingdom of God.
You are apart of changing lives around the world. This isn't just my trip — but yours too.
