Don't let the appearance of our apartment building fool you, our apartment is quite homey. Welcome!

Our Albanian bano along with our dual-purpose woodstove- to warm the apt and dry the clothes.
By popular demand, I present to you my home in Korce, Albania. It consists of 4 ½ rooms:
1. A bedroom (shared by two girls)
2. A dining/living room (which also converts to a bedroom for three girls)
3. The bathroom (that has a shower with no curtain)
4. The hallway (which houses many things including the washer and mini-fridge)
½. The two-butt kitchen (which can fit only two butts)
That’s right, you can only fit two butts in the tiny little kitchen but it does its job. I’m always amazed at the meals one can prepare with on one gas burner and a toaster oven!

My "American-Albanian" tacos I made for the gals one night. Crepe-type soft shells with seasoned meat, cheese, and pico de gallo salsa.
Though the quarters have been tight, I have thoroughly enjoyed living with my Albanian roomies (and my divan buddy Nicole). The girls live and work in harmony- they cook and eat every meal together. They know when it’s their turn to do the dishes or laundry, and serve each other joyfully. They effectively and efficiently use the space that they have and Nicole and I feel privileged to live life with them this month.
Okay, enough descriptions. I know you want to see the good stuff- my epicly narrated videos. So here you go, a video of my two-butt kitchen apartment:
