Do you remember the last time you read a really good book?  You know, the kind that has you engaged from the beginning and the one you just can’t seem to put down?  If you’re anything like me, you process the plot, character development and story line as you read but toward the end you become torn.  You’re torn because you’ve counted the number of pages to the end, and you just want to read it as quick as you possibly can.  While this check-it-off-the-list mentality is happening, the other side of you is saying No! I don’t want it to end!  I must savor this other world I’ve entered in to.  I hope there is a sequel…

This battle is currently my life.  One side of me is thrilled at new opportunities, adventures and ministries and the other is clinging tightly to what I currently hold dear.  One side is ready for change; the other is fully content with what I have.  One side is ready to move on from this chapter of life; the other can’t fathom leaving it behind.

I will engage in this tug-of-war lifestyle for the next 2 ½ months.  As I enter into the chaotic world of packing and purging, hellos and goodbyes, starts and stops, I must keep one very large reality in check- THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE BOOK, IT IS MERELY THE START OF A NEW CHAPTER.

So, on behalf of myself, I would like to welcome you to the beginnings of a new chapter in my life. I’m so glad we have the opportunity to share it together!

Though there have been many, here are a few co-journers from the past chapter(s):

Sure to be a friend for life- Anne Hacker. Lurve you! :)

Anne and me sporting our Peru hats at one of favorite places in Stevens Point- the river! She's a friend that will be with me for every chapter.

My current roomies- Amanda, Tanya, me and Erin.

My current roomies- Amanda, Tanya and Erin.  Oh, how I'll miss our late night conversations sitting on the couches!

Some of my dear college friends- Matt, Tanya, Travis, me and Scot.

College friends that can keep you rolling in laughter…and cut a rug!  Matt, Tanya, Travis and Scot.
