I have officially started the support raising process!
I need to raise close to $16,000 for the full year which is a pretty intimidating number- this covers all the field expenses such as food, housing, and travel. I’m excited to be challenged to live out of a backpack and to have some fairly challenging living arrangements throughout the year instead of being set up in a fancy hotel- this isn’t a vacation!
If you are interested in partnering with me through a financial donation, here’s what you need to know:
- By check
- Checks must be made payable to Adventures in Missions
- Write this on the memo line: Appealed by Emily Bjerstedt
- Mail to: Adventures in Missions, PO Box 742570, Atlanta GA 30374-2570
- Checks may take up to two weeks to be processed
- Donating online
- You can donate directly online through this blog!
- Donations by credit/debit will be subject to a 3% processing fee, while bank drafts will be subject to a 2% processing fee
- These can take between 3-5 days to process
- You can set up a reoccurring donation! You will be prompted to select a start date and an end date for your donation. The donations will automatically stop at end date, if one is selected
- Stop you reoccurring donation after my 6th month on the field (June 2015). Any donations made after that month will NOT be counted towards the final deadline.
- Donating with Dynapay
- An option for donating through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) which allows you to set up a monthly donation through your personal checking account
- Go to this website: https://www.adventures.org/dynapay and complete the required fields
- Donations typically take 1-2 weeks to be processed
- Withdrawn on either the 3rd or the 18th of the month
- No processing fee charged
In the past I had to raise money to go on shorter term mission trips through CRU and the Lord has taught me so much through those experiences. It was difficult, but awesome to see all the people the Lord brought in my life to support and encourage me. I’m excited to see how God is going to use this opportunity to build relationships, stretch me, teach me, and even to help me to reach others with the Gospel! It provides an awesome platform to share with the people around me every day all that God has done in my life.
