Hey!
I’m a 20-something, Jesus-loving, adventure-seeking, college graduate who is just looking for new and creative ways to serve God and bring the Gospel to all His people.
I’ve been walking as a Christian since my freshman year in college when I finally found everything I had been searching for my entire life in the Gospel. My roots lie in college ministry as I began the first steps in my faith in the organization CRU and that’s where I discovered a passion to build up and encourage this Church the Bible talks about- in other words all the Christ followers around the world. I have a passion for the Bible and studying it to discover the endless amounts of craziness and beauty it holds and I love to share my findings with others. My dream is to be able to be honest and vulnerable enough in the way that I live my life to where I can tell others to join my in my pursuit of Christ by seeing what comes out of my life. It’s sort of a spin-off of ‘preach with your life, not your mouth,’ but not really because I also love to talk.
I love art and studied it in college and that usually looks like everything from simple pinterest-type crafts, to giant charcoal drawings that are bigger than me and take months to complete. My friends know me as a bit of a hermit at times because I love my alone time and fill it with dreaming, writing, novel-reading, French horn playing, and sewing. I grew up near the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota on a small farm with horses and other various animals and am the baby of 3 siblings and the doting aunt of 3 nieces and nephews. If you buy me any sort of gummy, coffee beverage, or something with a floral pattern, you have found the way to my heart.
The purpose of this blog is to bring you on this crazy journey alongside me- I hope that the words you find here inspire you, encourage you, challenge you, and point to the feet of Jesus in the end.
