First off I want to thank everyone who continues to support me through prayer and financial support. It means a lot!
This week at bible study something really stuck out to me. We have been reading Philippians the past few months and we have been doing it in a different kind of way. Instead of reading straight from the Bible, all the passages are taken out and labeled by what line they are. It has been a neat experience. But this week something that really stuck out to me was this line:
Whatever happens, my dear brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord.
This line really hit me. How often do we forget to rejoice in the Lord? He has done great things for us! So my prayer for myself and everyone this week is to rejoice fully in the Lord.
On another note, I have started a new fundraiser! My squad mate(and roommate) and I are having a friendly competition! The winner will be doing a lip sync all over Morocco! This is how it works…. We have labeled squares 1-100. You can choose a number and donate that amount. If you could email me or Facebook me the amount I can then cross that amount off. Once you have done that I will update pictures of the progress made. You can donate one amount or choose multiple squares and add them together and donate that amount. The goal is to get all of the squares crossed off. Whoever gets all the numbers crossed off first will be the winner. 🙂 This will help me meet my goal of $3000 dollars before I get back to the states in June.
