This month my team and I are working with a Children's Home and a Day Care / Feeding Program in Mumbai, India. We spent yesterday with the kids at the Children's Home. Here's what a typical day for us looks like this month:
7:43 – Wake up.
7:59 – Skype my lovely sister. 🙂
9:15 – Get ready for the day.
10:00 – Walk to the House of Hope Children's Home.
10:15 – Breakfast.
10:40 – Playing and picture taking. And rescuing a street puppy. (don't worry, he's fine)
12:14 – Tea and a Bollywood movie.
1:00 – A Pastor and his wife from Swizerland come to see the Home.
1:45 – Lunch.
2:10 – More playing. More picture taking.
2:30 – Rest Time. Go back to our house for a couple of hours. Accidentally take a nap.
5:30 – Walk back to House of Hope, and have tea and biscuits.
6:25 – Walk to the park to play with the boys. Mostly run around and climb trees.
7:40 – Head back home with the kids.
8:00 – Help with dinner prep while the kids have a Bible study.
8:45 – Dinner.
9:05 – Go back home for team time.
9:45 – Watch Toy Story 3 and play board games with the best boys. 🙂
11:45 – Bed.
