To be called is one thing.
To DO is another.
When I first applied I was ecstatic, to say the least.
Slowly I started feeling scared, anxious, indifferent.
But the more I thought about it those negative emotions went away and a feeling of peace and joy overcame me. I knew this was what I was supposed to be doing.
I came across the World Race over a year ago on a social media site and was so intrigued, but I had so many excuses..
I had to keep my job.
I had to finish college.
I could never raise that much money.
There’s no way I could ever do this…
After a year, I didn’t have any more excuses.
I was all in.
I was ready to DO.
I was ready to GO.
My favorite bible verse has always been “walk by faith, not by sight” and right now that is exactly what I am doing.
Trusting that the Lord will provide.
Closing my eyes (and ears) to any negativity and letting the Lord lead and direct, as I prepare for this life changing journey.
Please be in prayer for me (and my mom) as I prepare to leave for 11 months.
Be in prayer for my team as we come in contact with so many people.
Be in prayer for those people that we will come in contact with, that the Lord will begin preparing and softening their hearts.
Pray for the safety of all the teams that are on the field now and all the teams that will launch in January.
Thank you to everyone that has already helped me along the way.
Thank you to my church family for all your support over the years and the support you have already shown me at the beginning of this journey.
Most importantly, thank you to my family for shaping the person I have become and all the support you have given me for my whole life.
Much love ??
