We ache for so many worldly things, but the thing we ache for the most is to be loved.
We want to feel loved.
We want to be loved.
We want to give love.
Some people go through their lives feeling as though they are the most unloved people on earth. They are so painstakingly broken that no one could ever love them.. Their life is so messed up, how could anyone ever love someone like that?
weary
brokenhearted
lost
lonely
forgotten
unlovable
There are so many people who feel as though they are not seen.
They are forgotten and rejected.
They build walls and when someone truly wants to love them, it takes ages to tear the walls down.
They have been neglected and abused.
I lived with walls. I felt alone. Even in the midst of all the people that loved me.
We look in all the wrong places.
But isn’t that just what the devil wants? For us to feel lonely and broken? We want to feel loved, but instead we feel that no one could ever love us.. But how far that is from the truth!
The Lord says “come to Me, all those who are weary and heavy burdened.”
Find rest in Him.
Find joy in Him.
Find love in Him.
He is the Hope of the world.
There is no longer a need to feel weary & broken.
He provides everything we need.
It may not be what we want — or what we think we need.
But it’s exactly the way that he had planned it and we must rejoice in what the Lord has given us.
Give him your broken heart, loneliness, abandonment // be FOUND in Christ.
Find your worth in Him. Let him be the reason you no longer feel lonely, lost or rejected.
He gives your life purpose.
He Loves you endlessly.
& He cares more than anyone in the world ever will.
There is no better solace than what you can find in Him.
Quit searching for the material things that will one day pass. Put all your faith & hope in the Lord and you will find true life.
Today I rejoice that even when I am feeling lost, broken and weary I ALWAYS have a place to turn.
He gives eternal joy / eternal love / eternal life.
