We left Guatemala on Sunday (i think…the days all run together now and I´m never sure of the day of the week).  We went to meet Squad B in Nicaragaua.  We spent 3 days on a beautiful lake in Nicaragua to debrief our month in Guatemala.  It was an amazing time of relaxing, rejuvinating, and preparing for Peru.  We left Nicaragua yesterday and after a 2 1/2 hr bus ride, an 1 hr plane ride, a 4 hr plane ride, and then a 1 hr bus ride all 50 of us made it to our church in Peru.  We arrived at 2am.  Even at 2am we were welcomed by members of the church.  They were incredible!  They hugged us like we had known them forever and were excited about us being there.  It was one amazing welcome!  I am excited to get to know the people of Peru and join them in ministry!  We raced all day today.  Sadly, we didn´t win this time, but it was the most fun race yet.  I plan to explain it and post pictures this week!  At this point, we know that Squad A (my team) will be in the state of Lima in the district of Villa El Salvador for the next 6 weeks.  I am not exactly sure what we will be doing, but can´t wait to see where God leads.  Thank you so much for all your prayers as we traveled the last few days.  God is good!
