Hello everyone! We are currently in Palenque, Mexico. Our “race” began on Thursday as they dropped us off in Matamoros. We were to make it to Palenque, Mexico and on the way we had to eat a taco stand, interview a local, pray for three people, and be the first to climb to the top of the Temple De La Cruz. Unsure of our plans, we waited for a taxi and just as we were putting our stuff in the taxi. A woman named, Fave, asked if we were with AIM and agreed to give us a ride. She works as a secretary for AIM. She was so sweet! We were able to pray for her and her four boys. We booked our bus tickets and proceeded onto a 30 straight hour bus ride to Palenque. It was quite the bus ride, but we had fun! We arrived last night at 10:30pm. We found a hotel room for some much needed sleep and a shower. This morning we continued the “race.” My team left at 6:30am. We thought we could walk to the ruins and needed the exercise after the long bus ride, but after walking for awhile we caught a cab. We made it to the ruins and were first in line for tickets. After getting our tickets, we sprinted into park and were the first team of Squad A to make it to the top! We were definitely out of breath and it was a sight to be seen! The view from the top was gorgeous. We spent most of the day wandering around the park enjoying God´s creation. It is very jungle like here and there were some beautiful waterfalls at one part of the park. (below is us celebrating at almost the top of the ruin)

We now have two hours to use the Internet, buy some food for dinner tonight, and then we are all heading to stay at a bible college before this week of training and ministry! I am excited to see where God takes us. He has provided for us thus far and kept us safe! Thank you so much for your prayers and comments. I wish I could respond to each and everyone. Please continue to pray for us as we enter some training this week and begin our “official” ministry!
