After 16 hours of travel yesterday, we made it to Phnom Penh at 1:00am. We quickly settled in and were fast asleep. Travel can surely wear you out! Currently we are staying at another YWAM base. We realized how spoiled we were to have air conditioning last month. After sleeping in this morning, we ate some Cambodian cuisine and have a meeting in a few minutes to brief us more on the Cambodian culture and history. Tomorrow, we will be doing a tour of the city to learn even more about the culture, customs, history, religion, etc. I was asleep last night as we drove into Phnom Penh so we walked around a little this morning and tried to see a little of the culture. It is definitely different than Bangkok! I’m excited to learn more about the culture!
Also, my team was informed, after my last blog, that our ministry for the month has fallen through so now we are praying and trying to figure out what we will be doing for the month. I would love for you to join us in prayer as we seek what God has for us! Thank you!
