I began this 325 day journey not knowing exactly what to expect and now I only have
97 days left.  And I guess I still don’t know what to expect, but I am confident that I wouldn’t trade this year or lifestyle for anything!  Yesterday was the Queen’s birthday and was a holiday for Thai people.  Katie, Stacy, Hannah, two NightLight Volunteers, and myself had been in the rural area of Kanchanaburi for a weekend church retreat and decided to stay an extra day to explore the waterfalls at Erawan National Park.  As we were riding there in the back of a pickup truck through the beautiful mountainous and very green, beautiful landscape, I couldn’t help but be thankful.   I still can’t believe that God chose
me to live this adventure for this year, but I am so grateful for this opportunity!  After a longer than expected trip, we made it to the waterfall and it was gorgeous!  We climbed up seven  tiers of waterfalls and got to swim in each one.  We were immersed in God’s natural beauty and I just couldn’t help to look around and stand in awe of God.  This year has been full of opportunities to see God’s beauty, to see Him use us to touch lives, to experience Him in new ways, and so much more.  So, as I enter the home stretch with a thankful heart, I am excited to see what God has in store for these last few months.  Thank you all for being a part of this journey.
