  (Webster’s Dictionary)

So, on Monday, I had been at work all day, did some shopping for my brother’s birthday, then went to small group.
By time that I got home, it was close to

8:30pm
.
It was dark and I walked up to my house and saw that there was a note taped to the door of our house.
I assumed it was a note to me from my parents about our cat or something.
I had my hands full so I took my stuff inside and returned to the door.
I saw that the envelope had my name on it with writing that I did not recognize.
It was also hardcore scotch-taped to the door.
I pulled it off the door racking my brain if I had left something somewhere recently.
I opened the envelope and inside was ten $100 dollar bills, so for those of you who are not good at math, that is $1000!
There was not a note or anything inside.
I was the only one home, so I just sat at the kitchen counter with my mouth wide open recounting the money and re-checking that it was my name on the envelope.
So, since the person did not put a note in the envelope and I cannot thank them in person, I hope they are reading this and if they are, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
This is just a tangible glimpse of the way that God has blessed me in these last few months as I prepare for this journey.
In addition to this special gift I had a friend’s dad write me a $1000 check the other day, I have been given a digital camera fully loaded with everything I would need, and I have been given a laptop computer to take with me on my trip.
I have also received numerous financial donations from friends, family, and even strangers who have made it possible that this trip become a reality.
Beyond the financial and tangible gifts, I am so grateful for your prayers, cards, and words or encouragement.
I am amazed at how God continues to use other people to be blessings in my life.
Being on the receiving end only encourages me to give more and be a blessing to others!
  THANK YOU!
