Hello from Cuenca, Educador! We have been partnering with Bob and Lori Leek of Kingdom Life Ministries this month. Bob is a pastor at a church they planted in Cuenca: Iglesia Impacto. The following are some of the programs we have been involved with.
– Church services at Iglesia Impacto
– Operation Christmas Child; distributing shoebox gifts
– English classes; four adult classes and two kids classes per week
– Unison television station; we did some painting at their counseling/resource center
– Church projects; cleaning, painting, etc.
– Youth services; we led the Friday night youth services at church with games, worship, teaching, and activities
– Young adult Bible study; every Wednesday we met with young adults ages 18-35 at the youth pastor’s apartment, sharing games, food, and testimonies
– Kingdom Life School of Ministry and Discipleship; Sunday nights we gathered at church to go deeper with teachings by Bob
