My question- "God, are you sure you want me to do this?"
God's reply- "This is what you were made for."
The Lord has removed the doubts, uncertainties, fears, and concerns of leaving for a year and replaced those with His indescribable peace.
The reality is that the lives I'm leaving back home are not going to be put on pause.
Things are going to happen and people will continue to live their lives without me here.
"But Lord, what about this..what about that. But.." – The honest response I was giving the Father.
Begging the Lord for a word from Him, I began meditating over 1 Corinthians 15:54-58.
Verse 58 says, " Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."
Each time I read the verse, the word "fully" stuck out in my mind.
God, what are you wanting to tell me? Allow your words to rain down from Heaven at this very moment, as your daughter so desperately needs to hear your voice.
I immediately heard the Father say, " Give yourself, ALL of yourself, FULLY to me and to my work. I have called you to this adventure, and you must trust me with things back home.
You can't be at home and be on the Race.
You've got to be on the Race, doing my work.
Not part of you, but every ounce of you.
Just because you're leaving people back home, doesn't mean I'm leaving them.
I will still be there with them, taking care of them."
As if that wasn't enough, the song "Fly" by Jonathan David Helser began playing on my Ipod.
This is part of the song's lyrics:

The Father began whispering to me saying, " You were made to fly. Cut loose the tie that's made you doubt my power and step off the edge. I've got you. You WILL fly, but you MUST trust me. Now GO!"
THIS IS WHAT I WAS MADE FOR.
