Hey friends! I hope that you are doing well! As some of you know, in two days I will be on my way to Gainesville, Georgia for Training Camp! Training camp is a 10-day camp where I will meet my squad (route two is the best) and focus on gaining intimacy with the Father.  We will be camping (yay!) so that we can try out all of our gear, going on hikes (with our 40lb packs) to test our physical fitness, learning about Jesus through different sermons and time in the Word, worshiping the King as a community of Jesus-lovers, and growing closer together! I seriously could not be more excited!

As I have finally finished getting all of my gear, and I am in the midst of packing, there are about 5 million thoughts going through my mind. Today I want to write out a list of all of those thoughts so that you can get a glimpse as to what preparing for the World Race is like, and so that later down the road I can look back and remember all of these sweet thoughts I am having now. So here it goes . . .

1. HOLY GUACAMOLE I GET TO MEET MY SQUAD IN TWO DAYS

2. Am I nervous to meet them??? — Nope, just excited!!

3. Geez, there are way too many things in my pack

4. I am so sick of looking for knee length shorts (I’m 5’9, this is impossible!!)

5. I hope I don’t struggle setting up my tent

6. How am I going to do this whole bucket shower thing?

7. WOWZA! I am unbelievably excited to worship with my squad and watch them bow before Him!!!

8. I know I trust Jesus with my team, but how do I get rid of these nerves?

9. I can hardly believe that one year ago this was just an idea, and now I’m packing up . . . Jesus seriously worked this past year.

10. Jesus thank you for your faithfulness, you are beyond good to me.

I honestly could not be more excited for Training Camp. I am so excited and expectant for God to work in radical ways to prepare my heart and show me more of His glory.

Please join me in praying for myself and my squad that we would go into camp with the Lord’s vision and with His heart. That we would be able to soak in His goodness and have our eyes fixed on His sweet glory. Thank you!

Thanks for reading my thoughts! I hope you have an amazing day and remember that you are so so so loved! And guess what . . . JESUS IS ALIVE!! WOO HOOOOOO!
