Hi friends!! How are ya?
Today I want to share with you a super duper cool thing God did last week!
I was out with my teammate Anna walking around trying to find some pizza for dinner when I noticed a woman walking around the city center who had a physical disability that made it difficult for her to walk. I walked past the woman and said hello, and the moment I walked away I knew the Lord was asking me to buy her dinner. So I turned around and asked the woman if she spoke English, she responded in broken English that she understood very little. I asked in my terrible Romanian what her name was, and she responded Claudia. I wasn’t quite sure how else to communicate with her so I pointed to the bench and told her to sit and wait and I would bring her dinner.
I left to go get food for her and I, and when I returned to the bench where I had left her, she was so pleased to see that I had brought her some dinner! I knew that I couldn’t communicate more with her, but I still heard the Lord prompting me to pray for her. Almost immediately when I started praying, Claudia began weeping and saying “amen, amen, amen”. When I finished praying, Claudia looked up at me and said in crystal clear English “I understood your prayer”.
SAY WHAT?!? This woman who doesn’t speak or understand English not only understood my prayer, but spoke to me in English?!
Wow Jesus, thank you for using me to speak to Claudia. Thank you that you are a God of miracles. Thank you that your love is greater than language barriers.
JESUS YOU ARE SO GOOD!! GOD YOU ARE SO COOL!! I AM IN AWE OF YOU LORD!!
