Death. What is a frightening topic to most is about to become one of my daily routines…
You die. You’re gone. You’re out of this world. Forever. There’s no coming back. Nothing left but a memory.
It wasn’t until my grandma and aunt passed away several years ago that I realized how permanent DEATH really was.
When I realized, that no longer would I be able to see them smile or hear their laughter. That the moments, the conversations with them were nothing more than memories now…
Now, this same Death. Is what we as “Christians”, as “Believers”, as whatever you wish to consider yourself should be going through on a daily basis.
Don’t misunderstand me now, and try jumping off the nearest cliff.. for I speak of Death that our dear friend Paul spoke of.
“For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.” -Romans 8:13
One can live without sin, if we DIE to our flesh. Daily. And so, let this be the Prologue to this new chapter in my story.
Let me die everyday, for 30 days.
