Greetings from Serbia,
What!! We are already at month 10? Yes, that is true. I am just in amazement how these months have flown by. We are at our second to last month.
Right now we are at mini Debrief in Belgrade Serbia. Today is our day to travel to our ministry sites. This mini Debrief was about celebrating what the Lord has done through us this past month. Reflecting of how much we have grown. Then also declaring the goodness of what the Lord will do for us this month as we serve in Serbia.
This month for our team Tetelestai we have no host month. So it is called “Ask the Lord.” Together as a team we prayed which city to go to, what place to stay, what will ministry look like. We found out in the middle of the month of April that it will be that for us. We did not do anything until we had prayed and heard from the Lord.
Here is the story of how the Lord showed up. God gave me a vision and three words. (Living on the edge.) I shared it with one of my teammates and she received it as a light house the water. So we prayed some more before we said anything to the others as we wanted the Holy Spirit to give us the prompting.
Sure enough the Lord shows up. Our Team leader, Jordan asked if we want to discuss about our no host month to see if anyone heard from the Lord. So we started sharing, I saw the vision and words, Gisele said a light house. Katie starts crying as a few days earlier she asked the Lord for a lighthouse. A few evenings earlier, Amanda had team time of us all bringing our favorite worship songs, playing them and tell why we like them and how they resign-ate with us. Amanda’s was along the lines of .
We were all so excited to see how the Lord brought this about. So we started researching, we found lighthouses in Serbia and also a light house church. We left the research. Said we need to pray asking the Lord what this all means. We entered Serbia not having a place to stay for the month. It’s ok, the Lord always shows up at the right time.
He did, we have a place to stay, we know which city we are in. Getting our place was so cool how we got it too. Its called the Green Apartmen. Today we leave for our home in Novi Sad,Serbia. We don’t know how ministry will look like. We are taking more time to pray and scope out what is there when we arrive.
This month we are in anticipation of what the Lord will do.
As team Tetelestai, this is our vision:
“Taking ownership in our personal walks with the Lord, allowing Him to move in ways that utilize each members gifts, and creating a space of unity that is centered around building, empowering, and encouraging the body of Christ by stepping into boldness, humility, and vulnerability with this team.”
We reflected back on this at the end of this month. We truly lived it out and we will be growing more in all of this.

as we ask the Lord every day this month of what he wants us to do for his kingdom.
That we stay strong in the lord as we fight for the things that we want for the rest of our lives.
As we are also preparing to come home next month. That we have a healthy balance of still being present here and also so excited to see family, and friends who walked with us on this Journey.
