Launch was full of preparing us to enter into the unknown. Building up our teams getting to know each other better. Making goals for our whole squad and also making team and personal goals. This makes me so excited as a lot of you who are reading this know I love to accomplish things.

One of my favorite things that I experienced at launch was… having my parents there. To see the sparkle in their eyes and the excitement they had getting to know other parents of the racers and having more of a clear view of what we actually will be doing and knowing that we will be well taken care of. So with this being the best part, it was also one of the hardest things to let go. It is so cool that I have family and friends that make departing for a lil’ while so hard. Strong relationships are a blessing! It reminds me of this quote that my sister shared with me (Thank you, Wilma):

“When the roots are deep, there is no need to fear the wind. We have this relationship with Jesus if we daily water the roots with his word. As we go from day to day constantly being reminded that we can choose from each circumstance to let it bring growth or let it rot away.

Another one of my favorites is the prophetic word engraved on a key that was given to us. The mission for this is “Keys for the Journey is to see personal and spiritual growth that unlocks the Kingdom in yourself and others. It is about purposefully and prayerfully choosing a word and wearing it as a daily reminder of what you are journeying towards, what you are fighting to gain in your life, and what you hope to empower others with.” So this is what I have been given.

My Key…

JOURNEY

I’m daily reminded that this is a journey. In the small details that you don’t see the end results right away, I am reminded to be patient, this is a journey. Trusting God in every step of the way. To be obedient when he calls you to do the things that are out of your comfortable box.

“When God wants you to grow he makes you uncomfortable.”

Thank You for your support!

Please continue to pray for…

Our squad to stay healthy that it would not interfere with our ministry.

To continue to be faithful to God and one another as we work together this month all in the same place, building a foundation for the rest of our race!
