Fundraising has been one of the hardest things I’ve done in my 18 years of life. It’s been one of the hardest things because it has required a perspective change and an insane amount of faith—changing from “holy crap I’m asking these people for money” to “wow I’m giving these people the opportunity to bless not only me but the kingdom of God!!”
And learning if God calls you somewhere he will provide ALL you need and more.
Fundraising ($15,800, SO much money) has also been one of the things I’ve had to trust the Lord the most in… it is an insane amount of money that no one could raise without divine intervention and laying down all pride. One of the phrases that bests sums up fundraising is, “A miracle cannot happen without a great risk taken.”
Ha. Wowza. God is so good.
So thank you to you, wether you supported me financially or spiritually ((or both)) thank you for helping to further the kingdom!!
