Hey! I’m Ellen, but my friends call me Elle (like the letter L)). I’m a freshman at Texas State University and my long term goal is to eventually get my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and teach elementary school children. As you can already tell, I’m taking a little break from the college life to live out this beautifully strange calling that Jesus placed so heavily on my heart. I am completely over the moon and all around overjoyed to be able to write these words and to continue to pour out my heart throughout this God led journey!
Jesus paints with colors I never knew existed until I began to truly open up my eyes. They were shut for so long and the last thing I did was notice. In saying that, my wish for my whole life is to be God’s canvas. For Him to paint me with His colors until I look nothing like myself, and everything like Him.
