The phrase “If life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” But you can not make lemonade without sugar and water..
This phrase keeps going through my head.
I’ve never really gotten the full concept of the meaning of it, due to the fact you can’t make lemonade without the other two ingredients…
So basically a bunch of the kids at the orphanage have been dealt a ton of lemonades in their lives. But the kids still push forward and go own with their lives.. But they aren’t able to get the water and sugar right away.. But I believe God will provide the water for the children.. Because my team and I are providing the sweet loving sugar.. But our God works wonders let me tell you that..
I’ve seen God work so much since I’ve been here and we are barely a week in.
So my team and I posted about us trying to help the orphanage get some projects done they needed done. But they did not have the funds to provide for them, but our God did great things and provided the money for that.
God sent two new little children to join the NHO (New Hope for Orphanages) family. But these two little kids are in need of a sponsor so that they can start school. So please pray that God will provide for that. They are siblings and one of the parents recently passed away and the surviving parent could not afford to take care of them. So they did what they thought was best for the children.
Some of my teammates have been experiencing spiritual warfare and prayer for that would be greatly appreciated also.
The food here is mostly rice, chicken, and noodles..
We have gotten pancakes two mornings. We got spaghetti one morning (but I was sick that morning).
LIFE IS GOOD AND TODAY WE TOOK THE OLDER KIDS TO A TRAMPOLINE PARK!!
