It is my pleasure to introduce you to myself and the exciting opportunity I hope to be a part of in 2012. My name is Ellen Smith, I am 23 year-old daughter of a school teacher and a former gospel preacher. I have grown up worshipping with the Seneca Church of Christ in the upstate of South Carolina. I have a strong love for people from every walk of life, and desire to do mission work that will touch people’s lives with the greatness of God. I feel I have been given very unique chances in my life to reach out to people- such as an upcoming internship with a US Representative from Alabama this fall. My life has been full of ups and downs, and I am always trying to “press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14) and share that hope with those in need.
