WELCOME TO NEW ZEALAND!
Well we’ve made it. World Race January 2010 has begun.
The plane to New Zealand landed just after 4:30am on Tuesday morning. As I post this it is still Monday for you reading this in the U.S. but as we are 16 hours ahead of you…you get the idea. Monday did not even happen for us, so we are all a bit confused as to what day it is.
The weather and scenery here are beautiful; God did a great job when He made this country. The 2 hour bus ride from the airport to Matamata went fast as I found myself taking in the views out the window. I can’t wait to get to explore as the month goes by. I should have pictures for you in the next post.
I just wanted to post this short blog to thank all of you for the prayers. Traveling went very well and we all made it safely. This is only the beginning though, please continue to keep all of us in your prayers throughout the next 11 months.
That’s about it for now; I will be able to post more towards the end of the week.
Thanks again for all the support. I am so blessed to be able to share this journey with all of you.
