You’ve heard the term fool for Jesus, well this month I am a clown for Jesus…literally.
5 days a week my team and I dress up as clowns. Four of those days we walk around the nearby neighborhoods handing out flyers to kids to invite them to come to our weekly Saturday event at the church. Saturday we get to play games, sing songs from the hokey pokey and cha cha slide, to Superhero (Hillsong Kids), The Lord’s Army and all those great Sunday school songs you remember as a kid.
The church used to do an annual event and is now trying to make it something weekly that the kids of the area can come to for fun while learning about the bible.
Taniuska and I were given a shoe box and given the assignment to make a treasure box which the women who runs the event uses with the kids. We rummaged the cabinets, found more cardboard and anything shiny and went to town. It’s tacky I know; perfect for people who dress like clowns for a living.
Lyndsay had a rough day in the office working on finances; it’s tough to be a clown on a budget.

Keep us in your prayers. Pray that kids will respond to the invitation and that none of us will get hit by cars while running around town. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support. Just 5 weeks left, let’s keep it up!
