Just want to update all of you who watch the news…or don’t but may hear rumors.
The Red Shirts are very active right now here in Thailand.
Earlier this month, in Bangkok, we walked past and through a few of their barricades of tires and bamboo spears. During those days they were just sitting around and not really doing anything.
In this past week they have gotten very active again. They have been seen about 30 minutes from our village in the main town, but we are safe out here in our village. Our contacts are our mom and dad and are making sure that we are kept safe.
I am curious to see what news is making it over to the States. For those of you who watch the news and have heard about the Red Shirts, can you please reply to this post. I would like to see what you all are being told about the situation.
Please pray for Thailand. The protests are targeting the government and those who are responsible or can make a difference…not tourists. THEY ARE NOT TARGETING TOURISTS. We are the least of their worries because we have nothing to do with their problems.
Pray that this country will be able to find peace amongst themselves. Pray that no more will have to die due to the anger, apathetic and selfish corruption.
