Hi whats up people?
The invisible disease- so called type one diabetes. Well if you didn’t know I have been living with this disease for 4 years. Doing four shots a day.
And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. (Matthew 8:3)
Because of the broken world we live in, everyone needs healing from something. Only when faith casts out fear and lets us out of hiding and into the light can true healing begin.
To me, this is shocking because, And yet Jesus touched him.He instantaneously healed him.
With a single touch, Jesus gave the leper the ability to enter back into society, no longer defined by illness. With a single touch, Jesus came the barrier created by the disease. With a single touch, Jesus did what only blood and sacrifice could do: He made the leper clean. With a single touch, Jesus showed that He was not threatened by the uncleanness of the world because His cleanness was more contagious than any disease could ever be.
The only reason the leper experienced Christ’s touch was because he came out of hiding and had faith that Jesus would heal him. If he had stayed outside the city hiding in shame because of his disease, his lonely life would have continued. But he didn’t. Risking what people thought. the leper knelt before Christ and humbly asked for healing. The leper is a great example. In only a few short verses, he modeled what a healthy way to deal with sin and pain:
A few weeks ago I Acknowledged that something is wrong and I had faith and asked Christ for healing. My squad prayed over me and the lord is already healing me I’m not completely healed by my diabetes but I know can do anything as Squad mates and people have been healed- the lord has a plan in healing me. Love prayers in healing over my body and that god can use me to show healing to others.
