its been a crazy few weeks here in the bode! If I’m honest it has been hard for me to write a blog as there is so much going on. I don’t really have the words to express everything. I’m finally settled into a routine, and god is working on so many things ! ok so after living in Kampong Thom for more than two months now, I’m finally seeing this place as home! the lord is working in MANY amazing ways here!

one thing that He has been teaching is the power of  conversations those of you who know my story me know that i love a good conversations. Let me tell you, the Lord has MORE than provided y’all! I have been blessed a thousand times over! As I love my team These girls have come by me in all this craziness that is becoming as I walk through this journey. I don’t think they truly understand how much i have been praying and needing these Christ-centered, REAL relationships! You girls are such a blessing!

Another thing that He has been teaching me lately is to give him control. There are a LOTTT of unknowns in my life (as comes with a lot of things daily I’m unsure about. I am the “always in control” type of girl. I stumbled across this verse a few days ago and it just really stood out to me! “give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes” (Matthew 6:34) It’s so important to remember who holds your future, and to remember he has you where he needs you! There’s things if life I am not always  sure about, but God has been teaching me through other girls and by diving into him daily  that I am on this race for a reason! He has me here for his purpose! He has you where you are right now for a purpose!!

“He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much.” Luke 16:10 has been resonating in my heart this past week. Life is such a crazy thing- theres always a meeting to get to, a friend to hang out with and “just life.” when life gets in the way and it is hard to find time for Jesus, thats when evil can slip in through the cracks.

Being faithful in the little things is something I have also decided to work on recently. the little things are as little as your thoughts, small acts of love- like opening a door. I have consciously made the decision to find the best in ever situation. To find Jesus in every conversation. Being faithful in the big things- like or who to marry- but the little things make a world of difference! you can touch so many lives with the love of Jesus with our words and simple actions. We see this ALL over the bible! Jesus loved. He made friends with the tax collectors and truly got to know the real them. He hung out with the lepers and the blind. He made it a point to talk to strangers on the street. He fed people when he could. He washed people’s feet.

Heres the deal. Jesus submitted to God and was faithful in every little action. He could have kept his head down and not smiled to people. He could have kept to himself and gone about his life. BUT HE DIDNT. 1 John 2:6 says “whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.” We are called to pick our heads up, get off our phones, take out the headphones and be intentional! 1 Peter 2:21 says “for to this you have been called, because christ also suffered for your, leaving an example, so that might follow in his steps.” There’s a really important phrase in that verse. “Leaving an example.” Jesus shows us time and time again how to be faithful in the little things through the gospel

We can get SO caught up in just living our lives! Stop and give him your FULL attention this week! Have an awesome week!
