Hello to all my friends, family, and visitors. I just got submitted into the world race for January 2014 route 3. I'm smiling so hard just in awe that the Lord has blessed me with such a journey. I will be going into 11 countries that are… Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, and the Philippines. A Journey across the globe living in each country for a month doing the good works of the lord. I have a strong faith and believe that through all of my tears and nights or terror God was preparing me for something wonderful to come. This is a time of change. A time where everyone can unite and actually make a difference. No more infomercials this is the real deal. I will humbly take on this amazing task and do it with great honor. As a child I watched my Father preach the gospel in Mexico while I was handing out clothes to those in need, then leading in to praise and prayer. It was something powerful that has always stayed with me. As I grew older my love for giving grew. However traveling with my parents was huge fall back. Went from school to school never actually settling anywhere until I was about 20. Now at the age of 22 I can say that I have a good amount of experience in giving my time effort and money to dozens of charities. From volunteering at Ronald McDonald Charity Homes and handing out food on Thanksgiving and Christmas at a local church in Linville North Carolina to being an advocate for Keep A Child Alive. Since the age of 15 I've been yearning to extend my hand overseas, 7 years later and it's finally at the tip of my hand. However I still need to sacrifice many things until I can actually make my dreams reality. So that's where you, visitors, or friends and family, come and lend your helping hand. With my blog you will see exactly my deadlines and how much I need to raise. I have a strong feeling about this. And with my town and the surrounding areas being so small I know it will be a challenge. But I want to make this monumental and inspire those who want more than just a regular life. I hope to be that push for someone and can make a difference not only overseas but in my area as well. I begin to prepare for this with a happy heart and I hope that you all will stick by me with my Journey. Thank you for stopping by!
