Hola family & friends, here is a little week in review of this past week plus some cute memories captured on camera.
Domingo
Wow Sunday. Ugh that day was so good. Sunday’s & Wednesday’s Pan De Vida feeds the beneficiaries so that means all hands on deck to feed 300+ peeps. That day I helped entertain the kiddos while the parents listened to a message/worshiped. There was about 116 kids between the ages of 3 to 13, let’s just say it was a beautiful mess lol. It was crazy yet I was so filled with joy.
This is the squad….well most of them.
Lunes
‘Twas a slower day of ministry at Pan De Vida, we mainly cleaned up, organized and sanded some more walls to prepare to paint a fresh coat on the walls.
The view of Quito from our house.
Martes
We started painting the mural at Pan De Vida and helped prepare for Wednesday’s activities as well.
Creative gals in action.
Miércoles
The day started off with organizing school supplies donated to handout and preparing food to be cooked for later that evening. We were able to give school supplies, milk & rice to 36+ families and give them a warm meal for that night.
Caroline smiling with some of the meals we packaged & handed out.
Jueves
It was eventful to say the least, we taught English to 2,5, and 6th graders for about half the day at a local school. It was crazy fun and the questions the kids would ask us were so funny. They would always ask me who my favorite soccer player was to which I never had the “right” answer. They also thought I was 25!?!? They would get so excited when I told them I was from Texas (their reaction was priceless every time).

Viernes
It was our sabbath so we took things easy. We headed over to a Juan Val Dez (The Starbucks of Ecuador but way cheaper) to snag some WiFi to talk to loved ones.
Café con leche de almendras is a must.
Sábado
Got to reflect on this past week on our 4hr bus ride to Quilotoa for an adventure day and then was amazed by Gods beauty surrounding me.
No filter needed with this view & peeps.
Ciao!
All the love, Ella.
