Hey everyone,
I want to first of all thank those who have supported me so far and thank those who read my blog. My first deadline is MET! It does not say so on my bar above, but that is because there are two huge checks that were just sent out. I am by no means done fundraising though. In the end I will need a total of $14,806. The LORD has supplied so far through the donations of so many people, and I trust him to do the same for the rest.
Two weeks from today I am going to training camp for ten days. I am so excited! I will be flying by myself down to Georgia where I will get to meet my teammates, and grow with them. We will be tested and pushed. We will learn how to encourage each other and how to live with each other as well. I am pumped for this adventure God has coming my way. Thank you all for your support so far!
Some of my support has also come in unique ways. Many people have donated loose change (which I am still collecting) and the bank has gotten used to me making some strange deposits. A friend bought me a new phone case I needed that is weather, water, dust, and shock proof. Still another friend gave me a brand new hiking backpack which was the last big supply I was needing. It was a bit intimidating to see the size of the bag I will be living out of. I will definitely need to downsize my wardrobe!
On this journey I will need plenty of prayer. Please keep praying. I will keep you updated.
