Two days ago I was able to go to see Angkor Wat (think Tomb Raider), overall it was an amazing experience. The temples were huge and power, and I couldn’t help but feeling small and a part of something greater than me.

The day would have been perfect, except that right before lunch an evil genetically engenered spider bit me between my toes. The spider was so fast, I never even saw it. At first it just stung a little bit, but by the end of the day I was having a hard time walking.

The next morning when I woke up, three of my toes were a tad bit swollen. By the end of the day yesterday, my entire foot looked like a grapefruit. As soon as I got off the bus in Bangkok from Cambodia, I found a translator and went to a night clinic.

Apparently, I have some kind of infection (I am returing to the doctor tonight). Before the spider bite I was fighting a cold. Cold fighting plus spider bites equals a fever, and feeling overall not well. Needless to say, I had big plans about all I wanted to accomplish in Bangkok. I wanted to write lots of Blogs and run lots of errands. But it is looking like none of this is going to happen.

I’m sorry.

Tommorrow we will be flying to Hong Kong where we will debrief.

Thank you faithful blog readers for all your love and support.
